Serú Girán

Serú Girán, a progressive rock-band from Argentina, was shaped in the past due ’70s by Charly García, guitarist David Lebón, bassist Pedro Aznar, and drummer Oscar Moro. After leading la Máquina de Hacer Pájaros, García relocated to Brazil to start out his new task. In 1978, Serú Girán premiered after recording classes in Sao Paulo and LA, with Daniel Goldberg responsible for its orchestral plans. That recording was presented 1st to music journalists and later on at Buenos Aires’ Luna Recreation area. The press was delighted, but music followers weren’t ready for the experimental design played with the music group. The blended response with their debut drove Serú Girán release a a simpler record in 1979 known as La Grasa de las Capitales, shown live on the Buenos Aires’ Auditorium. Bicicleta emerged in 1980, accompanied by a present on the Monterrey Jazz Celebration in Rio de Janeiro. Peperina ’81 premiered in 1981. The music group decided to split up after two displays at Obras Sanitarias in March 1982. Serú Girán returned with Serú in 1992 and Yo No Quiero Volverme Tan Loco in the entire year 2000.
