Serpent Power

The Liverpool-based psychedelic band referred to as the Serpent Power — never to be confused using the later-’60s band from the same name — is a collaboration between Ian Skelly (the Coral) and Paul Molloy (the Zutons), whose previous groups were more popular in the U.K. across the turn from the hundred years, notably because of their catchy mix of pop and psychedelia. The set fulfilled in 2014 at among Skelly’s after-parties in Liverpool, where they quickly uncovered that they had a musical affinity; predicated on that encounter they hurriedly booked themselves into Castle Grayskull Studios in Merseyside, and started focusing on their debut record. The name Serpent Power originally belonged to Skelly’s support music group during his solo tour; they thought we would adopt the name because of this particular task.
