The Finnish rock band Sentenced released its debut album, Shadows of days gone by, in the first ’90s on a little French label; dissatisfied making use of their relatively commonplace black-metal audio, they employed bassist/vocalist Taneli Jarva to supply even more originality for 1992’s North From Right here.
