Merging components of “Wednesday Afternoon” and “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da,” its lovely delicacy quailed before harder-edged graph competition. Self-Portrait later on became Crosstown Bus, from whose recording came the solitary “Rochester River.” “He’s a guy” resurfaced on the annals of Vancouver Stone, Volume 3.
