Seemless

Positive, emo-tinged metallic with a solid Christian subtext, Seemless is usually something of the Massachusetts metalcore supergroup. Created in 2003 by vocalist and lyricist Jesse David Leach pursuing his abrupt departure from your Boston-based metallic take action Killswitch Engage, Seemless provides guitarist Pete Cortese (also briefly in Killswitch Engage, in addition to Moderate and Overcast), bassist Jeff Fultz, and drummer Derek Kerswill (previously of Shadows Fall, Moderate, and, relatively incongruously, the re-formed lineup of 1980s Christian steel act Stryper). Generally falling the post-hardcore areas of the associates’ previous rings, Seemless applies to a far more traditional steel sound heavily inspired by both old-school steel of the Dark Sabbath era and grunge-era superstars like Soundgarden and Alice in Stores, leavened by Leach’s generally affirmative lyrical position. Signing to the neighborhood alt-metal label Shedding Face Information in 2004, the music group released their self-titled debut afterwards that year. Reviews that are positive and an evergrowing live rep triggered the bigger indie Equal Eyesight Records to get Seemless and reissue their debut record in early 2005. The group’s second record, What Possess We Become, implemented in nov 2006.
