Secrets of the Sky

Secrets from the Sky certainly are a five-piece steel music group from Oakland, California. Their audio is certainly blackened doom steel with neo-psychedelic and intensifying atmospherics and sonics. The music group was founded by guitarists/keyboardists Chris Anderson and Clayton Bartholomew, who started playing together in ’09 2009. This year 2010 they started writing officially with the idea of assembling a music group around their distributed musical ideas. Many rhythm areas and vocalists had been auditioned before a lineup solidified. In 2011 drummer Lance Lea, bassist Ryan Healy, third guitarist Andy Green, and vocalist Garett Gazay curved out the sextet. After spending another season rehearsing, composing, and playing displays around the Bay Region, they inserted Trident Studios in 2012 with manufacturer/engineer Juan Urteaga to record To Sail Dark Waters, that was released by Gravedancer Information with distribution through EMI in early 2013. Over time of relentless touring, Anderson still left the music group and had not been replaced. Putting your signature on to Metal Cutter, Secrets from the Sky re-entered the studio room and trim their sophomore outing. Pathway premiered in the springtime of 2015.
