Secondhand Serenade

Similar to Five for Fighting or Dashboard Confessional, Secondhand Serenade may be the project name to get a solo artist, singer/songwriter John Vesely. Elevated in the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Bay Area within a musical family members that included his professional jazz musician dad, Vesely spent quite a few years playing bass in regional bands before picking right up the classical guitar and refocusing his interest on composing first materials. Rather than launching the new materials under his name, Vesely thought we would group them under a different moniker, Secondhand Serenade, which paid mention of the notion that his autobiographical tracks were directed first of all to his wife (and therefore made the others of his viewers bystanders with their pas de deux). Vesely documented his debut record, Awake, in 2005, originally self-releasing the disk and offering it digitally through his MySpace web page. Internet buzz resulted in a cope with Glassnote Records, who released an extended version of Awake in Feb 2007.
