Before launching a solo career in 2008, Toronto native Sebastien Grainger found an audience because the drum-playing vocalist of Loss of life from Above 1979. The group’s sweaty mixture of punk, hip-hop, and dance was chronicled on two albums (one of these a remix record) before Grainger divide with bandmate Jesse F. Keeler in 2006. Keeler continued to create MSTRKRFT, while Grainger tackled many new tasks, the to begin which noticed him issuing dance singles beneath the alias “The Tempo Method.” Then agreed upon with Saddle Creek Information being a single musician. Sebastien Grainger & the Mountains, an eclectic record recorded mainly by Grainger himself, proclaimed his single debut in Oct 2008. For concert events over the tour that implemented, he added bassist Nick Sewell, drummer Leon Taheny, and guitarist Andrew Scott. This year 2010, Grainger produced an electronic music group, Poor ?? i?? s, with ex-Tangiers member Josh Reichmann. They released a unitary, “Garbage Evening,” this year 2010, before changing their name to Deserts. He and Keeler re-formed Loss of life from Above 1979 in early 2011, and started touring and composing new music. They debuted them on an instant tour around Canada in nov 2012, then started making programs for a fresh album.
