Sebastian Bodinus

A German composer who played the oboe but whose primary instrument was the violin. He’s known to possess befriended the courtroom Kappellmeister, Molter, in Karlsruhe. Bodinus offered on the Baden courtroom on several occasions acceding towards the post of Konzertmeister. When composing, Bodinus’s major works had been chamber parts — including some parts for suites — that included many single and trio sonatas. Bodinus also constructed concertos and symphonies exhibiting some melodic ingenuity.
