Teenager blues phenom Sean Costello was created and elevated in Atlanta, receiving his 1st acoustic guitar for his ninth birthday. A mainly self-taught participant, he primarily gravitated toward hard rock and roll but soon found out Stevie Ray Vaughan, shifting following that to Howlin’ Wolf; beneath the wing of regional bluesman Felix Reyes, a 14-year-old Costello gained the Beale Road Blues Society’s skill prize in 1994. Another contestant was Susan Tedeschi, and shortly Costello started touring as her business lead guitarist and remained with her music group for a few years. He also supplied electric guitar on Tedeschi’s 1998 record, Just Won’t Burn off. Soon after departing Tedeschi’s music group, Costello assembled support clothing the Jivebombers — bassist Carl Shankle, keyboardist and harpist Paul Linden, and drummer Terrence Prather — and released his debut record, Contact the Cops, in 1996. After touring thoroughly and revamping his music group by changing Shankle with Melvin Zachary on bass and adding keyboardist Matt Wauchope, Costello released Cuttin’ In in early 2000. The record was successful within the blues community, attaining him a W.C. Helpful Prize nomination for Greatest New Musician Debut. In 2001 Costello released his third record, Moanin’ for Molasses, and additional cemented his popularity among the greatest youthful blues guitarists over the picture. The self-titled Sean Costello premiered on Artemis Information in 2004. However, Artemis folded several months later as well as the record — designed as Costello’s discovery — hardly ever received the promotion it deserved. It might be four years before Costello would discharge another record with 2008’s WE ARE ABLE TO Get Together. Unfortunately, on Apr 15, 2008, simply two months following the release of this record and a time before his 29th birthday, Costello was discovered dead in an area Atlanta accommodation.
