Sean Altman

Sean Altman was raised in the Bronx and took violin lessons as a kid. He began carrying out professionally at age 17 inside a duo known as Moon Pudding. While going to Brown University or college, he sang having a rock-band, the Blind Times, and an a cappella octet, the Large Jinks. In 1986, he founded the a cappella group Rockapella, which obtained national acknowledgement through the PBS documentary Spike Lee & Co.: GET IT DONE A Cappella. The group spent five years as regulars around the children’s Television series Where in the Globe Is usually Carmen Sandiego?, that Altman published the theme track, and released nine albums. Altman remaining the group in 1997 and released a solo profession along with his self-released debut recording Seandemonium.
