Seam

Seam began like a trio out of Chapel Hill, NC, with Sooyoung Recreation area (guitars/vocals) and Lexi Mitchell (bass) of Bitch Magnet and Mac pc McCaughan (drums) of Superchunk. Their 1st recording, Headsparks, released in 1992, was filled up with the slow, influencing melodies and vocals that could become their brand. After the launch of this record, McCaughan remaining the group to pursue Superchunk regular, and the others of Seam relocated head office to Chicago. Bob Increasing changed McCaughan and Craig White colored became a member of on as yet another guitarist, turning Seam right into a quartet. 1993’s The Issue With Me presented this fresh lineup and somewhat more upbeat seems. Are You Traveling Me Crazy, released in 1995, features a completely new lineup aside from Recreation area — the music group currently includes drummer Chris Manfrin, bassist William Shin, and guitarist Reg Shrader — but continues in the type of moody and complicated Seam releases, producing their musical quality a continuing within an ever-changing music group.
