Made up of acclaimed illustrator Pete Fowler and Jon Tye, the cosmic and oceanography-influenced sounds from the Seahawks had been first heard for the 2010 album Sea Trippin’. They lent their trippy, yacht rock and roll and hazy seaside pop vibes to many remixes including artists like the Horrors and Tim Burgess. They produced their personal record label, Sea Moon, in 2011 and released many limited-edition cassette and vinyl fabric long-players. In 2014, they released their recognized second album, Heaven Freaks, which presented vocals from famous brands Maria Minerva, Indra Dunis, and Burgess.
