Sea of Bees

Marked by appeal and introspection, Sea of Bees may be the folk-seasoned indie pop task of singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Julie Baenziger. Elevated in California’s Central Valley, she trained herself acoustic guitar, piano, percussion, and even more instruments from her teens, ultimately self-recording the 1st Ocean of Bees launch, 2009’s Bee Eee Pee, in one afternoon. After putting your signature on with Crossbill Information in the U.S., she adopted in the EP this year 2010 using the critically well-received full-length Tunes for the Ravens, including shows by John Bee, Vetiver’s Andy Cabic, and Grandaddy’s Wayne Neil and resulted in a record cope with Heavenly (Common GROUP) for worldwide launch. Containing addresses of Blue ?-yster Cult’s “Don’t Dread the Reaper” and U2’s “With or Without You,” the EP Gnomes was released a year later on, another full-length recording, Orangefarben (also offering Bee, Neil, and Rusty Miller, amongst others), found its way to 2012 on Heavenly and Group Love Information. With a complete music group, the contemplative but decidedly upbeat Create a Motorboat to sunlight followed in the summertime of 2015 via 3 Loop Music.
