Explaining their formula as “Scuzzy guitars, California sunshine, Brooklyn grime,” Scully certainly are a group from NEW YORK who combine up garage rock and roll, psychedelia, and hard rock and roll right into a uniquely heady brew. The Scully Tale begins in ’09 2009, when like-minded California rings the Splinters as well as the Numerators had been hanging out jointly in Austin, Tx on the South by Southwest Music Meeting. The two groupings turned out to be fast close friends, so when the Splinters split up, Splinters’ guitarist and vocalist Caroline Partamian opted to go to NY. By 2014, Partamian’s previous bandmates Courtney Grey (electric guitar and vocals) and Lauren Stern (bass and vocals) shifted east to become listed on her and begin a new music group. Needing a drummer, they primarily installed with Kyle Bronko Carlson, who created the group’s initial demonstration tape. Carlson also made an appearance on a divide cassette Scully released in tandem with Todas las Rosas. But by enough time they released a divided one with La Luz in August 2015, Carlson was from the picture, and Scully approached Burgers Rana, who defeat the traps for the Numerators. Rana became a member of the music group, and in middle-2016, Scully released a six-song EP, No Feeling.
