Scrap Iron Scientists

This all-black rock-band, comprising Richard Martin (vocals), Steve Wellington (guitar), Steve Liburd (bass) and Johann James (drums), was formed in London, England, in 1994, and rose to prominence in 1995 as support act on Body Count’s UK tour. Their uncompromising rock and roll sound was similar to both Anthrax and Crimson Popular Chili Peppers. They performed at an anti-racist carnival on Plumstead Common, London, close to the headquarters from the severe right-wing British Country wide Party. Further works with with Crown Of Thorns and Skunk Anansie implemented, before they embarked on the first recording periods.
