Scotty Hard

Engineer/manufacturer/remixer Scott Harding, aka Scotty Hard, was a Canadian indigenous (from Vancouver, Uk Columbia) who produced his name in NY within the burgeoning hip-hop picture. Working in the backdrop on several projects using the superstars of hiphop, including Kool Keith, Cypress Hill, Boogie Down Productions, Wu-Tang Clan, and Biz Markie, he produced the connections essential to obtain an all-star ensemble of followers when he was prepared to perform his own single projects. His initial album, Come back of Kill Pet dog E, arrived in 1999 and premiered by WordSound Recordings, a label focused on the hip-hop underground. The record featured a distinctive, sludgy mixture of bass, beats, and sound that recalled various other white-boy steel rappers like Child Rock and roll. Hard was also highlighted on many WordSound compilations, including Crooklyn Dub, Vol. 2 and Subterranean Hitz. He also started dealing with jazz performers like Medeski, Martin & Timber and Sex Mob in the past due ’90s, contributing intensely to albums like Uninvisible, The Dropper, and Dime Grind Palace. In past due 2004, Hard started use John Medeski and Matthew Shipp, ultimately launching the collaborative Scotty Hard’s Radical Reconstructive Medical procedures in Oct 2006.
