Scotty Barnhart

Atlanta local Scotty Barnhart is a gifted jazz trumpeter, educator, and clinician known for his long association using the Count number Basie Orchestra. After graduating from Florida A&M College or university with a level in music education, Barnhart discovered work performing using a bevy of name performers including pianist Marcus Roberts, with whom he documented three studio room albums. An in-demand performer, Barnhart in addition has performed and documented with such luminaries as Tony Bennett, Diana Krall, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Quincy Jones, Ray Dark brown, Take 6, Utmost Roach, Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Jon Hendricks, Barbara Streisand, and many more. In 1993, he became a member of as trumpeter and highlighted soloist using the legacy Count number Basie Orchestra, a job he extended to movie director in 2008. You should definitely touring, Barnhart retains the positioning of Teacher of Jazz Trumpet at Florida Condition University. In ’09 2009, he released his debut single record, Say It Basic, which featured visitor performances from Clark Terry and Wynton Marsalis. 2 yrs later, he made an appearance using the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra for the record Sundays in NY. In 2015, Barnhart supported English vocalist Rebecca Ferguson on her behalf Billie Vacation tribute, Woman Sings the Blues.
