Scott Hardkiss

A leading person in the San Francisco-based Hardkiss collective, Scott Hardkiss was a prominent home DJ/producer through the early to mid-’90s Western world Coastline rave scene. Delivered within the Bronx, NY, he transferred throughout the East Coastline (i actually.e., NEW YORK, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia) even though we were young and first experienced music through the early ’80s. He afterwards examined at Oxford School in Britain, where he experienced the burgeoning U.K. rave and choice dance scenes from the past due ’80s. Upon time for the U.S., he started organizing DJ celebrations of his very own in the East Coastline prior to making his method to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. There he co-founded the Hardkiss collective with Gavin Hardkiss (aka Hawke) and Robbie Hardkiss (aka Small Wing). The trio began a label of the same name, inaugurating it in 1992 using the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA: The Magick Noises from the Underground 12″ compilation. Among Scott’s early productions, “Pleasure,” was included and acknowledged towards the moniker Tree of Hearts. He consequently released a few singles beneath the God Within moniker, “Raincry” (1993) and “The Phoenix” (1994), the second option which was specifically well-known. In 1995 a few of his creation function was included on Delusions of Grandeur, a full-length compilation of Hardkiss materials released up to now. Years later on Scott returned using the full-length recording Technicolor Dreamer (2009), self-released on his Brooklyn-based God Within Recordings label, combined with the associated You’re the Superstar EP (2009).
