Neo-power pop singer/songwriter Scot Sax initially made his name among power pop followers with his function in Wanderlust and Bachelor NUMBER 1 (the latter which landed a music within the American Pie soundtrack). For his 1st solo recording, a self-titled work released by Not really Lame in the summertime of 2001, Sax combined classic English Invasion pop noises with the modern sensibility of pop vocalist/songwriters like Elliott Smith, Aimee Mann, and Tal Bachman.
