Scissors for Lefty

Peter Krimmel (piano/vocals/acoustic guitar), Robby Garza (acoustic guitar/bass), Bryan Garza (vocals/acoustic guitar), and Wayne Krimmel (drums/bass) comprised the original incarnation from the flirty indie rock-band Scissors for Lefty. Component Brit-pop and component indie rock, along with a campy persona and dreamy lyrics to complement, Scissors for Lefty had been an excellent addition to the post-punk revival of the brand new millennium. They performed shows with famous brands Grandaddy, the Coral, Mary Timony, Pedro the Lion, and Gemstone Evenings. They self-released their 1st recording, Bruno, in 2005. A overall performance in the annual South by Southwest meeting in Austin, TX, adopted in springtime 2006. Several months later on they added Stevie Garza (Bryan’s sibling) on bass and arranged to focus on their Rough Trade debut, Underhanded Love, which arrived in June of the next year.
