College of Seven Bells continuing, however, without struggling any lack of innovative power. Ghostory was released in Feb 2012 and peaked at the top Electronic Albums at the same placement as the recording that preceded it. Place Your Sad Down, a download-only EP having a 13-minute name track along with a cover of Metallic Apples’ “Lovefingers,” was offered through the band’s gigs that 12 months. Early in 2013, Curtis announced that he was identified as having lymphoma. That August, an advantage concert occurred in NY with performances from your Strokes’ Albert Hammond, Jr. and Interpol’s Paul Banking institutions, and users of Radiohead and Coldplay had been among those that donated what to a concurrent silent public sale. Curtis passed away that December. Several months later on, Alejandra Deheza released a College of Seven Bells cover of Joey Ramone’s “I ACQUIRED Knocked Down (But I’ll GET RIGHT UP)” which was documented while Curtis is at a healthcare facility; Ramone himself passed away of lymphoma simply over ten years earlier.
