Schleigho (pronounced shlay-ho) is really a NYC four-piece that came jointly while attending Boston’s Berklee College of Music. These four men – drummer Erik Egol, flutist/guitarist Suke Cerulo, jazz pianist Jesse Gibbon, and bassist Matt Rubano — had been entranced with jazz in early stages and molded an audio like the wants of Bela Fleck or Medeski, Martin, & Real wood. Creating a name in the faculty rock scene, also, they are regulars in the Knitting Manufacturer and have used several jazz aficionados like Fleck, Maceo Parker, and Galatic. Their 4th CD, Continent, premiered in middle-2000 for the Butch Vehicles (Allman Brothers Music group) spearheaded label, Soaring Frog Information, and because of its assisting tour, Paco Mahone changed a departed Rubano (he continued to become listed on emo-rockers Taking Back again Weekend). Live at Ho-Down 2000 made an appearance in springtime 2001.
