Scattered Trees

Indie rock clothing Scattered Trees produce yearning, heartfelt music centered around lead singer/songwriter Nate Eiesland. The group originally produced in 2003 after Eiesland transferred to Illinois from Minnesota and composed a song per month, which culminated in the discharge of the 2004 debut, Hollohills. Eiesland ultimately done the ensemble with bassist Ryne Estwing and guitarist Justin Eisenbraun and started work on brand-new materials. In the wake from the loss of life of Eiesland’s grandfather, Dispersed Trees and shrubs released their sophomore record, Melody for My Grandfather, in 2006. The trio grew even more by adding drummer Baron Harper and Eiesland’s wife, keyboardist Alissa Eiesland. In 2011, the recently minted quintet released its third studio room album, Sympathy, offering the singles “A Discussion About Loss of life on New Year’s Eve” and “Like and Keep,” that the bandmembers released a video where they wore Superstar Wars stormtrooper outfits.
