New York-based Saxon Shoreline certainly are a post-rock instrumental outfit whose spatial cinematic sound continues to be set alongside the likes of Mogwai and Explosions in the Sky. Originally produced being a duo by guitarist Matthew Doty and potential Fleet Foxes drummer Josh Tillman, the music group recruited bassist (and Josh’s sibling) Zach Tillman for the documenting of the debut album, Be considered a Bright Blue, that was released through their very own Broken Factory Information label in 2001.
