Sawdust Devil

Sawdust Devil got their begin in Omaha, NE, through the couple cooperation of Richard Schultz (vocals/acoustic guitar) and Melissa Solid wood (bass/vocals). Bringing on the metallic sound of classic rock and roll, and a self-parody of funny lyrics, the duo started strictly like a studio room project with program drummer Dan Leonard adding to their 1st album. Leading to the 1996 launch of Affirmative, Sawdust Devil started playing out around Nebraska with previous Such Nice Thunder drummer Sven Solid wood. But by 1997, the music group soon fell aside after being decreased using their label Ismist Information. Afterward, frontman Schultz released many cassette singles by himself as an acoustic performer.
