London-based experimental folk collective Savaging Spires bubbled into existence around 2011 using the release of their self-titled single album. The group tended toward the loose, murky noises of pastoral folk having a decidedly psychedelic demonstration, collaging together approximately recorded tunes and plenty of ambient noises to art dream-like listening encounters. The music group also held an intentionally low profile, seeping very little information regarding its users or their particular biographies on-line. The strange group released a good amount of fresh material for any music group with such nebulous tendencies. Numerous cassette and 7″ produces showed up immediately after the debut, and 2013 noticed the discharge of Country wide Supper Program, an album documented in one take from the music group collected around a lone mike. More fully created but just as mercurial, third album WE OUGHT TO Be Dead Collectively materialized in 2014.
