Sasha Lazard

After graduating from Bennington University, Sasha Lazard began getting mixed up in classical scene while attending the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Conservatory of Music. After performing opera in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA and New York’s circuit, manufacturer Anthony Vanger teamed up with her to focus on a groundbreaking project to mix opera arias and Russian folk split over digital music, specifically drum’n’bass. While functioning along with Tag Kamins and Joey Moskowitz, a different aspect of electronica started emerging, captivating traditional supporters and dance/membership audiences at exactly the same time. Sasha Lazard added to japan animated film Princess Mononoke using a melody constructed by Hayaro Miyakazi, and her edition of “Ave Maria” was selected to participate Holy Smoke’s soundtrack. In 2001, Higher Octave Music/Virgin Information agreed upon her up. The Misconception of Crimson became her debut record, made by Frank Fitzpatrick and co-produced by Tag Raskin and Dale Wardlaw.
