Trumpeter and vocalist/songwriter Sarah Kramer makes folky, organic music that builds upon her jazz research at Bard University, years spent accompanying additional artists. A indigenous of Western Orange, NJ, Kramer performed trumpet and acoustic guitar growing up and finally attended Bard on the Nesuhi Ertegun jazz scholarship or grant. When not learning jazz, Kramer would play her unique tracks at cafés around NEW YORK and locations like Woodstock, NY. After graduating, Kramer spent eight years in New Orleans carrying out several musical designs from jazz to blues and rock and roll, in addition to developing her personal vocalist/songwriter pop audio. In 2003 she relocated to LA, where she discovered are a studio room musician, even while continuing to create and perform her personal music. In 2013 Kramer released her debut recording, Home, which presented nine originals along with a cover of spirit tale Curtis Mayfield’s “People PREPARE YOURSELF.”
