Sara Wasserman

Vocalist/songwriter Sara Wasserman may be the little girl of bassist Rob Wasserman and Clare Wasserman, a supervisor of music artists. She was raised in North California surrounded with the music artists with whom her parents proved helpful, and begun to consider vocal lessons at age ten. She produced her stage debut seated along with RatDog, the music group featuring her dad and led by Bob Weir, on the Furthur Celebration on the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Hill Watch, CA, on August 2, 1997, performing the melody “Solid Surface” (compiled by her dad and Jim Capaldi). At 18, she transferred to NY to pursue performing, but eventually came back to music. She started focusing on the monitors on her behalf debut record, Solid Surface, in the first 2000s, making it, much just how her dad provides his albums, over many years and numerous guest stars, included in this Christian McBride, DJ Reasoning, Aaron Neville, Vernon Reid of Living Color, Stephen Perkins of Jane’s Craving, Lou Reed, and her dad. (A self-released solitary, “YOU HAVE Me,” made an appearance in 2007.) She authorized to That Additional Label, a department of Pacific Coastline Jazz, which released Solid Ground about June 16, 2009.
