Sara Ramírez

Before releasing her debut EP in 2011, Sara Memoryírez began her career being a Tony Award-winning actress, credit scoring major roles in Broadway while enjoying sporadic function in film and television. She spent her early years as a child in Mexico and finally moved to NORTH PARK, where she honed her vocal skills at a executing arts school. Carrying on her studies on the Juilliard College, Memoryírez relocated to NEW YORK and continued to be there after graduation, producing her Broadway debut in Paul Simon’s The Capeman at age 23. Although she also arrived small jobs in films (You’ve Got Email, Spider-man) and a bunch of Television shows, Memoryírez do her best focus on Broadway, getting her initial Tony Award in 2005 on her behalf work in the initial ensemble of Spamalot. After departing Spamalot, Memoryírez converted her attention back again to tv by signing up for the ensemble of Gray’s Anatomy in 2006. Although playing the function of Dr. Callie Torres didn’t always need her to sing, Memoryírez still discovered ways to display her vocal skill. She performed an a cappella edition of “Silent Evening” through the 6th season and, 2 yrs later, helped business lead the cast with the present’s initial “musical event” in March 2011. That same month, she also released the self-titled Sara Ramirez, which highlighted three original tracks and a cover of Brandi Carlile’s “The Tale.”
