Drummer Sandy Western world co-founded the groundbreaking all-female hard rock-band the Runaways in tandem with her friend Joan Jett. Blessed Sandy Pesavento in Longer Seaside, CA on July 10, 1959, Western world mostly was raised in close by Huntington Seaside, and began playing the drums at age group 9.
