Sand Rubies

The Fine sand Rubies evolved from an Arizona group called the Sidewinders, an outfit that had already released three albums with Full Hopkins on guitar and David Slutes as vocalist. The name transformation came about due to legal difficulties, however they continued to printer ink a cope with Mammoth Information in 1988. A display followed in NY, producing a cope with RCA. Because of little promotional support from RCA, the Fine sand Rubies shifted to Ensign/Chrysalis through the early 1990s. However, when EMI had taken over Chrysalis, the music group was overlooked in the frosty. Soon the Fine sand Rubies again acquired a new offer, this time around with Atlas/PolyGram. At once, Pearl Jam was the band’s starting act. However the frustrations of constantly having to look for a brand-new label tested music group members solve and led to tempers which were occasionally brief. Infighting between Hopkins and Slutes resulted in even shakier instances in 1993, and music group members went their very own ways. 3 years later both feuding musicians appeared to possess buried the hatchet plus they reunited with drummer Bruce Halper and bass participant Tag Perrodin. Hopkins also offers a solo profession.
