Samuli Putro

Samuli Putro, the longtime frontman from the Finnish rock-band Zen Café, with whom he experienced many years of chart-topping success, is a singer/songwriter who produced his blockbuster single album debut in ’09 2009. Created on August 21, 1970, in Helsinki, he co-founded Zen Café in 1992. The music group contains Kari Nylander (bass) and Pete Parkkonen (drums), furthermore to Putro (vocals, acoustic guitar). Zen Café produced their recording debut in 1997 with Romuna. Following albums consist of Idiootti (1998), Ua Ua (1999), and Helvetisti Järkeä (2001). Zen Café after that hit number 1 with each of their following three albums, Helvetisti Järkeä (2001), Vuokralainen (2002), and Jättiläinen (2003); furthermore, these albums are the Top Ten strike singles “Aamuisin,” “Piha Ilman Sadettajaa,” and “Tavallaan Jokainen On Surullinen.” The latter-day albums Laiska, Tyhmä Ja Saamaton (2005) and prevent (2006) were likewise successful, hitting number 2 and one, respectively. Popular for his longtime frontman position in Zen Café, Putro produced his blockbuster single album debut in ’09 2009 with Unämä On Juhla. Just one more in an extended type of chart-topping albums for Putro, Unämä On Juhla contains the singles “Unämä On Juhla,” “Älä Huuda Mulle,” and “Mitäpä Jos.”
