Samuel Mareschall

When Mareschall moved to Basle in 1576-77(?), which may be the initial information attained about him, he inserted the school. Almost instantly he became an organist at Basle Cathedral, a teacher of music on the school, and he trained at both Gymnasium as well as the Collegium Alumnorum. Though he previously other obligations to product his income, Mareschall managed all positions until his loss of life. “Der gantz Psalter” of 1606, and “Psalmen Davids” had been his most mentioned works.
