Sam H. Harris

Through the 30s his displays, many of them strikes, included George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin’s Of Thee I Sing (1931, which received a Pulitzer Reward), Rainfall (1932), Supper At Eight (1933), Jubilee (1935, publication by Moss Hart and music by Cole Porter), You Can’t Consider It With You, Stage Door (both 1936), and Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart’s I’d Rather Become Best (1937). In the second option, Harris was reunited with Cohan who required the best role of Chief executive Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Despite serious disease, Harris worked well and was effective to the finish. His remaining displays included THE PERSON Who FOUND Supper (1939) and Woman AT NIGHT (1941), by Kurt Weill and Ira Gershwin, which opened up soon before his loss of life from stomach malignancy.
