Known primarily mainly because one-half from the Portland, Oregon-based indie rock and roll device Quasi — drummer and ex-wife Janet Weiss (Sleater-Kinney) completes the duo — Sam Coomes is really a prolific multi-instrumentalist and songwriter that has been musically active because the 1980s. Given birth to in 1964 in Sherman, Tx, Coomes was raised in Southern California.
