Sally Nyolo

Sally Nyolo is among the most successful vocalists to emerge from the jungles of Cameroun. Although she’s resided in Paris because the age group of 13, Nyolo continues to be linked with the tribal rhythms and musical customs of her birthplace. As she described throughout a 1998 interview, “I make an effort to become as rootsy because the (Eton) vocabulary want me to become because from the vocabulary we consult with pictures… I make an effort to be like previous singers i did so typically in Eton. I make an effort to perform like them, consult with picture, give my most effective feeling towards the market.” Known on her behalf solid and throaty vocals, Nyolo constructed her initial popularity as a history vocalist for such Afro-French performers as Toure Kunda and Princesse Erika.
