Salem

After As Close friends Corrosion dissolved in early 2002, guitarist Joe Simmons and bassist Tom Rankine formed Salem with drummer David Miller, guitarist Jeremy Robertson, and vocalist Adam D’Zurilla. Initially, the Gainesville, FL-based combo was just a retooled edition of AFR, since that device still got tour responsibilities to satisfy. But with the state name modify to Salem, the group started to gel around a batch of fresh songs as well as the emotive vocals of D’Zurilla. Trips through the entire emo/punk revivalist axis adopted, and gigs with types like Additional Seems Forever, A FRESH Found out Glory, and Finch furthered the Salem hype. The group authorized using the Geffen imprint Fiddler, as well as the THINK IT?S GREAT or Keep Me EP lowered in late Oct 2003. In middle-2005, Salem announced its dissolution.
