British teenager Callum Burrows, better referred to as Saint Raymond, rushed onto the music scene in the soft age of 18, and his indie pop anthems were immediately tipped for big things with the music press. He was raised in Nottingham, alongside famous brands Jake Bugg and Pet dog Is Inactive — and undoubtedly drew evaluations to them both. Burrows initial caught the interest of the main brands in early 2013 after his debut EP, Escapade, premiered on songstress Gabrielle Aplin’s very own Hardly ever Fade label, and inserted the digital graph. This was the beginning of a active calendar year for the vocalist/songwriter as he continued to aid Aplin on her behalf Western european tour before putting your signature on to Asylum Information — house to Ed Sheeran — and became a member of American gentle rockers HAIM because of their U.K. schedules. His live shows were supported with a band, following trend set with the Stateside achievement of Bastille, who had been led by vocalist/songwriter Dan Smith. Burrows also stocks an affinity for ’80s-motivated lush harmonies with Bastille, while his off-kilter beats consider impact from Vampire Weekend’s Afro-beat. Another EP made an appearance in early 2014 and obtained radio support from BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, who highlighted it as the latest Record in the Globe on his present.
