Egyptian percussionist Said Un Artist was raised within a musical family, encircled by the music of his seven brothers in a residence filled up with the sounds of accordion, piano, and — needless to say — tabla. Said’s dad, Hagy Abou, was among the best-known performers in Alexandria, so that it was an all natural changeover for Thought to move toward functionality being a profession.
