Sacrilege

English thrashers Sacrilege are perhaps best kept in mind for having a lady singer in Lynda Simpson — always a uncommon development within the macho world of metallic, but particularly thrash. Together with guitarist Damien Thompson, bassist Tony May, and drummer Andrew Baker, Simpson debuted with 1985’s Behind the Realms of Madness. Inside the Prophecy adopted in 1987, as well as the oddly called REVERSE Trilobite premiered in 1989 — both of these offering unusually epic-length thrashings, but obtaining little favour outside underground metallic circles. The music group quietly split sometime in the first ’90s, but 1996 noticed their 1st two produces reissued using one disc.
