Sacrifice

Among Canada’s initial, and arguably throughout best, pure thrash metallic rings, Sacrifice was formed in Toronto, in 1985, and quickly earned a saving agreement with leading indie Metal Knife on the effectiveness of a promising couple of demos. For the period of three albums: 1986’s Torment in Open fire, 1987’s Forwards to Termination, and 1990’s Troops of Misfortune (the final of which premiered with the Diabolic Pressure label), the group contains Rob Urbinati (vocals/acoustic guitar), Joe Rico (acoustic guitar), Scott W (bass), and Gus Pynn (drums); however the second option pair was changed by Kevin Wimberley and Michael Rosenthal, respectively, for the saving of 1993’s swan track, Apocalypse Inside. This designated a go back to initial home Metal Knife for the talented but commercially challenged music group, which made a decision to disband the next 12 months when Urbinati and Wimberley began devoting more focus on a new task called Interzone.
