Sacrifice

Having a lethal mixture of classic melodic force steel and no-frills NWOBHM, Sweden’s Sacrifice only were able to release a solo 7″ in 1985, however the A-side (“Street Fighter”) garnered them enough underground cred to warrant a 2015 reunion of types. Produced in 1982 beneath the moniker Crier, the hard rock and roll/heavy metal device also spent a calendar year operating beneath the name Steel Muthas before buying Sacrifice in 1984. Composed of vocalist Anders Strengberg, guitarists Thomas “Tott” Axelsson and Thomas Lundgren, bass participant Mats “Masken” Svensson, and drummer Mikael Gustavsson, the group disbanded soon after the discharge from the “Road Fighter”/”Innocent Sufferer” solitary. A 2015 cover of “Road Fighter” by Brazilian rock and gaming music cover music group Megadriver released the music to a complete new era, and prompted Sacrifice to return into the studio room and cut a fresh version from the music, along with an up to date version of the previously unreleased monitor called “AND THAT MEANS YOU Better Operate.”
