Vocalist/songwriter Sachal Vasandani, aka. Sachal, is certainly a unique vocalist with a nice, versatile, and understated design. Influenced with the subtleties of Shirley Horn, Sachal’s early albums showcased his like of jazz criteria, and occasionally discovered him using scat phrasing, and vocalese.
