s / s / s

The s / s / s project can be an electro/indie/rap collaboration between mercurial singer/songwriter Sufjan Stevens, experimental electronic artist Son Lux, and Chicago-based rapper Serengeti. The trio was instigated by Serengeti, who petitioned several performers, including Stevens, to aid him on a small number of tracks to get a potential new record. After hearing what Stevens put into the combine, he handed it along to Lux, who fleshed it out a lot more, leading to the trio’s initial single, “Museum Time.” The group’s debut EP, Beak & Claw, found its way to March 2012. After changing their name to Sisyphus, the group came back in 2014 using a self-titled debut LP.
