S.A.D.O.

This German group achieved a amount of notoriety through the mid-80s using their Tubes -like stage show that incorporated an array of scantily clad females in sado-masochistic uniform. Vocalist Andre Make continues to be the only long term member because the music group’s inception in 1983, dropping initial collaborators Matti Kaebs (drums), Wolfgang Eicholz (acoustic guitar), Matthias Moser (acoustic guitar) and Stepan Neumann (bass) – most of whom remaining to create V2 following the release from the inappropriately entitled Circle Of Close friends. Make attempted to leap the thrash-metal bandwagon with Dirty Dream, attracting minimal interest, then adopted a far more melodic AOR strategy for Private. Their last line-up included Make, a coming back Moser (electric guitar), Duncan O’Neill (bass) and Danny (drums), but all to small avail as the group disbanded soon after the record’s release.
