Ryan’s Fancy

Originally referred to as Sullivan’s Gypsies, Fergus O’Byrne, Dermot O’Reilly and Denis Ryan renamed themselves Ryan’s Fancy if they moved from Ireland to Newfoundland, Canada. The trio’s albums consist of Ryan’s Nice Sung by Sullivan’s Gypsys (1970), Dark Isle (1971), Looking Back again (1972), Newfoundland Consuming Songs (1973), Instances to keep in mind (1973), Ryan’s Nice Live (1975), COMPLETELY NEW Songs (1977), A PERIOD with Ryan’s Nice (1979), Ocean People (1980) and Dance FOR THIS One (1981).
