London-born Joy found prominence as the writer and singer of Sheffield-based Krush’s ‘Home Arrest’ crossover success from 1987, of which point she was widely touted as the ‘fresh Neneh Cherry’. Nevertheless, it would consider 3 years of function, and many dumped makers, before her debut single album finally noticed the light of day time.
