Rustie Blue

Vocalist/songwriter Rustie Blue began her romance with nation music at age eight, singing in various region fairs around her local southeastern Ohio. Genetically predestined towards the genre — she’s linked to Merle Travis through her grandmother Lila Jane Travis — Blue released her debut record (That Oughta GET IT DONE) in 2001. The recording won her a little but devoted pursuing and opened up her up to the mainstream, particularly European countries, as her second launch, the bluesy Enter at the Personal Risk, charted abroad. Blue spent 2002 and 2003 quite a distance from her rural upbringing, touring Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Holland, and Australia. Her most recent, Chip Chip, having a duet with famous singer Whisperin’ Expenses Anderson, premiered in 2005.
